Reading----Use the chart, "To Understand/interpret a Story, readers Pay attention to....." that you pasted into your composition book to analyze the way the author of your book writes about Characters, Plot, Setting and any repeated objects. Circle or highlight an element that you haven't been thinking about deeply and that you want to notice more.

5th graders (Writing/Oral presentation)----Practice your speech, due tomorrow

Math: 5th graders ----two word problems #13 and 14 on page 16 of your math textbook
(also available online)
4th graders-----Explain why using drawings, diagrams, words, and numbers why we compare numbers beginning from the left after you line them up by place value. Complete your explanation in your math journal.
